About this work
A napkin sits in the guest's lap for the whole meal, so it is a branded object, not a commodity. A small embroidered corner monogram is the standard and survives years of washing, while prints crack and fade under high-temperature laundry. Deep colours such as maroon, navy, forest green and charcoal hide stains; white looks best but needs a proper laundry contract.

About 45 to 50 cm square for standard dining, 50 to 55 cm for fine-dine and 30 to 35 cm for cocktail and bar use.
Embroidered, for anything going through commercial laundry. Prints crack and fade under high-temperature washing, while a small embroidered monogram lasts.
